Fuji has four current series of digital cameras all labeled simply by a letter. The S series, F series, Z series, and A series. There are different levels of quality and different price points within each model so it’s best to check with your retailer first and do all your homework so you know exactly what you’re looking for and exactly what you’re buying before you do so.
The S-Series has a more traditional body type of a 35mm camera yet offers the benefits of digital technology. Some of these features include 11 point AF sensor, high precision i-TTL flash control, and viewfinder with a magnification. All this along with a 2.5” view screen make for the photographer with more traditional ambitions and who desire a more traditional body. The F-Series has many of the same benefits of the S but with the smaller, slim body more traditionally associated with the digital camera. You can get models with varying pixels; all current models have 3x optical zoom. The Z-Series has all the same benefits of the previous two but also appears to be in conjunction with the Pink campaign for Breast cancer research. A great gift idea for any female in your life who needs a new camera. The A-Series appears to be their top line digital camera as it includes 10MB internal memory, QVGZ move recoding, video output, and many other features. When it comes to accessories, retailers, and reviews Fuji has so many it’s hard to even know where to begin. You could find hundreds of great reviews and probably a more than a few negative ones about any Fuji product, so it’s probably a best idea just to investigate for yourself and not necessarily trust all the voices from the blogsphere. |
